NENSA Eastern Cup Weekend #2

Rikert Nordic Center, Ripton, VT – January 13 and 14, 2018.

Format for weekend:  (Detailed schedule & virtual coaches page)

  • Saturday 1/13:  Classic Sprint (1.5k),  Qualifier in the morning, and open heats, plus, U16 heats and U18/U20 heats for JN qualifying, in the afternoon.
  • Sunday 1/14:  Skate interval starts (5k/10k) (5k for U16’s)
  • Registration is open on  All racers MUST be NENSA & US Ski & Snowboard members.

There is DOR registration for both days which closes at 9:00 AM both days. DOR entries will not be seeded as per USSA or FIS points and will placed at the end of the start list.

Food available on site both days and all proceeds will benefit Frost Mountain Nordic BKL.

There will be podium ceremonies with prizes from local vendors for top 3 male and female finishers for overall winners and U-16 categories as well as Masters category overall male and female winners.

Bill Koch Festival

2017 NEBKL Festival will be hosted by the Bethel Outing Club in Bethel, Maine

Once a year, individuals and Clubs from all over New England and New York come together at the annual Festival for a weekend of activities centering upon cross country skiing.  The site is determined by a bid process, and rotates through the states of Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine.

Cancelled Viking Night Race


West River will be hosting the annual Viking Night Race on Friday, Feb. 10th at Viking Nordic Center in Londonderry.  

  • Registration opens at 4:00 (maybe 3:45). 
  • Lollipop race starts around 4:45 with others to follow. 
    • Typically 15 second interval individual starts …. but may be slightly different.
