Programming

Frost Mountain Nordic Ski Club offers programs for kids in kindergarten through 8th grade and beyond. Our programs offer opportunities for beginning, intermediate, and advanced skiers. The focus is on fun, exploration, skill building, and group skiing. Whether a child loves the adventure and exploration of cross-country skiing or wants to grow up to be a ski racer, Frost Mountain Nordic has something for everyone.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

Frost Mountain Nordic is a volunteer-run club and we expect all members to volunteer during the season at practices and events. When registering, let us know how you are best able to volunteer. This March, FMN, together with NENSA, will be hosting the NEBKL Festival. We will need many volunteers to pull off a successful event.

GROUP LEADERS FOR FROST CATS AND BOBCATS

We are looking for parents to lead groups in both our Frost Cat and Bobcat programs. For Frost Cat leaders, knowledge of ski technique is not necessary - just a willingness to have fun and play games with kids. Bobcat leaders need both knowledge and ability in skate and classic skiing. Weekly plans for skiing and games will be provided. Parents who commit to being group leaders can have one child participate in Frost Cats or Bobcats at no charge. Before registering, please email Britta (britta@frostmountainnordic.org) for more details and directions.

SCHOLARSHIPS
FMN seeks to ensure all young skiers can enroll in our programs and grow a life-long love of Nordic skiing.  We are able to offer scholarships in the form of partial or full fee waivers. Parents and skiers seeking financial assistance may use
this form to request aid from the club.

**PLEASE NOTE**

Due to weather, snow conditions, or Rikert Outdoor Center events, we may need to postpone, cancel, or change the dates of programming. Think snow!
